What you’ll be doing:

Cask is looking for a Product Design Lead. Our product designers collaborate with Product Management, Architects and Developers to partner on product discovery. You are obsessed with the user and creating an intuitive, simple, valuable product for the client. You see technical and functional constraints as opportunities and understand that the user experience is just as important as the code that drives the product. Your team’s designs consider the users’ entire journey and rely heavily on journey mapping, prototyping, usability testing, interaction and visual design. 


You are a servant leader that will be responsible for setting the vision and executing against that vision for the Product Design Team at Cask. Cask believes in continuous learning, you will provide coaching and identify training opportunities for the team. You will ensure that Product Design skills are sought after by our clients and other Cask teams, achieving consistently high utilization. You will create product design enablement tools for our sales team, Cask Coopers and our clients. Your team will include people with varying expertise in user research, interaction design and visual design - you will know how to best blend and apply these skills based on the project and the client. This team will be highly collaborative and have an equal seat at the table with Product Management and Product Development. You embrace agile, design thinking, design ethnography and lean UX.


What you’ll bring to the table:

  •  7+ years of experience in UX or interaction design with heavy emphasis on solid human-centered design methods 

  • Expertise in accessibility and 508 compliance

  • A robust, outcome-driven portfolio of designed experiences 

  • Broad public-sector and government experience in creating elegant, informed solutions that solved your client’s problems

  • Ability to clearly articulate the vision and methods of UX and product design with our clients 

  • Expertise with design tools (e.g. Adobe XD, Axure) to produce wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes 

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional and multi-disciplined agile teams 


Bonus Points 

  • Experience with the ServiceNow Platform

  • Experience in SAFe

  • Expertise in Behavior Design and/or Service Design
