What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Manager of Run Services, the ServiceNow Support Architect fulfills the role of the Technical Lead and oversees the delivery of technical solutions and processes for Cask’s Remote Administrator and Support Programs. This position  must regularly interface with all levels of customer stakeholders as well as every role on the Cask team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital to success in the role. Understanding user requirements and being able to translate them into the technical solution that aligns with customer expectations, requires the ability to listen, interpret, strategize and communicate. The role also requires a broad and deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and best-practices pertaining to the implementation and configuration of its various applications and modules.


Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform

Work with key stakeholders to assess needs and deliver the right solution to help solve business problems

Lead virtual meetings with customers and provide valuable consultation specific to their business needs and ServiceNow environment

Researches and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solutions

Translate requirements into functional and technical requirements

Coordinate with in-person and remote team members (both on-shore and off-shore), to drive technical work

Remain current on technical and professional developments and business strategies affecting area of responsibility

Maintain delivery schedules, adhere to SLAs and regularly communicate task status to key stakeholders

Provide QA testing of technical configurations including reading and evaluating code 

Facilitate demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions with the customer

Promote update sets and configurations through ServiceNow instances.

Coach and mentor administrators and developers

Lead workshops focused on ITSM, ITIL and ServiceNow platform governance

Provide a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of customers and Cask admins

Evaluation of new features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations

Manage and participate in platform upgrades

Ability to travel up to 10% 


What you’ll bring to the table:

 

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in technology and business 

4+ years experience working on the ServiceNow platform

3+ years experience working within a consulting or managed services environment 

ServiceNow Certified System Admin certification

Strong understanding of ServiceNow administration and development practices

Must be able to learn new applications and tools quickly

Proficiency in Javascript comprehension is a plus 

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in business terms

Familiarity with ITIL Service Management

Working knowledge Microsoft Office products 

Experience with FedRamp or government customers is a plus

Other ServiceNow certifications are a plus

CMDB and ITOM experience is a plus

Service Portal experience is a plus

Must be able to attain public trust security clearance
