What you’ll be doing

Cask is seeking a Resource Manager to join our team to help schedule and align resources for current projects and to forecast future resource needs to enable us to scale effectively as a fast-paced growing professional services firm.    


The Resource Manager is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders across strategy, sales, and delivery to ensure schedule the right resources based on required skills, qualifications, and environment.  The Resource Manager will also be involved in efforts to manage resource capacity and utilization in order to maintain profitability on all projects across the company. This person will also lead or participate in internal projects across Cask functions that incorporate external research and enable data-driven decision making. 


Planning and Scheduling  


  • Assist project managers in maintaining resource plans for individual projects.
  • Track availability of resources for upcoming projects.
  • Hard and Soft book resources to projects based on the resource requirements, availability, skill and location.

Analysis & Reporting 


  • Develop and present resourcing forecast to the leadership team for business planning.
  • Evaluate future demand for resources based on staffing needs of existing projects, probable pipeline opportunities and future needs to support other opportunities.
  • Analyze trends in forecasted and actual utilization to monitor and influence key performance metrics.

Integration for HR and Management Processes


  • Work with Talent Management and Supervisors to help ensure resources skills are accurate.
  • Advise and provide recommendations on hiring, training, or reductions in workforce. 

 

What you’ll bring to the table


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Resource Management, PMO, Business Analyst, Talent Acquisition or related experience
  • Experience forecasting to ensure resources are available to meet business commitments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data trends
  • Proficiency in data analytics or business intelligence concepts
  • Proficient performing analysis using software including Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems, resource planning tools
  • Exceptional ability to make timely and effective decisions to meet fluid deadlines
  • Capability to work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
