Description: 


We are looking for someone to lead our testing team and agile testing strategy in support of a program that is changing the way people work. This will require someone that can collaborate with our customers and an agile development team. You will define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products or product components. You will guide personnel on the set-up and performance of tests. You will participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. You will evaluate progress and results and recommend major changes in procedures, operating with considerable latitude.

 

Your Role:


 This position’s primary responsibilities are development as highlighted below:

 

  • Work with customers and other stakeholders to identify test cases
  • Assist in coordinating user acceptance testing events
  • Work with development teams to fix problems
  • Document test results
  • Define testing methods/create test plans for ServiceNow
  • Perform the testing; follow up when items fail test

 

Qualifications:

 

  • BA/BS degree or additional 2 years of industry experience
  • 3 years of experience with software testing principles
  • 3 years of experience with system testing methodologies
  • 3 years of experience with the system or software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to assess and comprehend system and functional requirements
  • Experience with software development testing supporting workflows and business processes
  • Excellent written/communication skills; proficiency with MS tools
  • Ability to comprehend QA processes and follow QA process guidelines
  • Ability to create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and managed
  • Comfortable collaborating with remote teams
  • Ability to prioritize testing based on criticality
  • Ability to lead training and testing sessions with the client
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience with automated testing software
  • Experience testing platform as a service cloud implementation
  • Experience with ServiceNow SDLC/Testing Management a plus
  • Technical depth of understanding deep enough to fluently converse with developers
  • Able to qualify for a U.S. Federal Government Moderate Risk Position
