Position Overview:
Cask continues to grow significantly and we are looking for a proven expert to lead our technology-based consulting organization.   Cask has consulting offerings for technology integrated Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), Security, Integrated Risk, Customer Success, Technology Governance, and Business Application Modernization,  

Cask is looking for a Consulting leader to join our executive team.  This position reports to the Vice President of Strategy and Growth and will be responsible to lead and grow the Consulting organization which includes advisory practices and pre-sales consulting at Cask.  Additionally, the Senior Director of Consulting will work closely with our Vice President of Delivery, Senior Director of Finance, and Senior Director of Technical Services.  
 
Responsibilities:

Consulting Leadership: 
  • Provide management, oversight and guidance and advice to Cask’s consulting organization. 
  • Mentor and grow the consulting organization’s capabilities to successfully deliver consulting services to client.
  • Define and drive onboarding training for new consultants when hired to ensure consistent delivery to clients.
  • Allocates and make client resourcing fit decisions to ensure the right consultants work on the right projects.
  • Manage the consulting organization resourcing & utilization to ensure billable utilization and profitability commitments to the business.  
  • Makes critical personnel decisions for the consulting organization.

Financial Management: 
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders and finance to establish an appropriate pricing structure. 
  • Manage the consulting organization budget.
  • Create budget and internal ROI business cases.

Account Management:
  • Provide strategic consulting and executive governance to large strategic accounts. 
  • Manage relationships with senior members.
  • Escalation point for client delivery.

New Business Development and Sales Support: 
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to hire or dedicate teams to support sales, through a combination of matrix and dotted-line reporting. 
  • Develop reporting to monitor and measure success.
  • Work with executive leadership to define a direct and/or sales support compensation program for consultants.

Marketing Support: 
  • Collaborate with other leaders to identify appropriate target markets for these services. 
  • Work with marketing and sales to identify strategies to upsell into existing accounts.
  • Write blogs and other pieces of thought leadership for marketing purposes.

Service Enhancement and New Service Creation: 
  • Work closely with the business to evaluate, evolve, and enhance our Consulting services portfolio.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend future consulting practices and services for Cask to grow / invest in;  determine requirements needed to operationalize repeatable services offerings.  
  • Lead / oversight for the creation of Services offerings includes documentation, templates, work instructions and enablement materials.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • MBA or other Masters degree desired
  • 10+ Years of experience leading and growing consulting practices and/or organizations for a Big 4 firm or top tier mid-size firm
  • Understanding of large enterprises and public sector organizations and the requirements / abilities to deliver consulting services to them 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver messages across a variety of internal and external audiences and the ability to persuasively articulate Cask’s offerings and the associated business value to customers and partners
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a vast array of information and create structure in heavily ambiguous environments
  • Ability to interact with leaders and all levels of the organization in a professional manner
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams, including remote teams in multiple time zones
  • Up to 75% travel
