Description


Cask NX is at a critical stage of designing the overall employee experience and we are looking for an HR Generalist who is passionate about People. Overall this role is a trusted resource responsible for the management of personnel, communications, and policy administration. Additionally, the HR Generalist understands and maintains various HRIS platforms with the ability to compile data and reports from these systems.

Duties

  • Participate in the co-creation and stewardship of company culture and employee experience through programs and practices
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
  • Become an expert on our HR systems and maintain accurate data and documents in our systems; own the data integrity in our HR systems
  • Manage the logistics of on-boarding program to ensure a great new hire experience; conduct new hire orientation
  • Conduct off-boarding and other responsibilities related to terminations
  • Manage and administer the background check process for our employees
  • Coordinate and communicate benefits enrollment activities in partner with our PEO  
  • Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts in a timely manner
  • Lead the effort for ongoing continuous improvement of HR service delivery including on digital transformation of HR systems, processes and employee document management
  • Assist managers in addressing employee issues related to performance, disciplinary actions, and when necessary conduct terminations and exit interviews
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintain other records, report and log to conform to EEO regulations
  • Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Assist in Talent Acquisition and recruitment processes as needed
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews; Track employee evaluation dates and sends reminders to managers and leadership.


Position Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years progressive HR generalist work experience
  • Knowledge and experience in HR   PHR, SHRM-CP a plus
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms and databases
  • Able to objectively consult and coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Detail oriented ability to prioritize with strong organization skills
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
