Description:


A strategic advisor and customer advocate with exceptional skills in facilitating process design, innovative problem solving, analysis, client management and consulting, focusing on service delivery in the Human Resources domain. Provide expert level guidance to customers on best practices, including HR Process Design, Alignment, Case Management, Knowledge Management, and Continuous Improvement, including Enterprise HR Case, Onboarding and Transitions and Contingent Labor Management.


As an advisor in the Human Resources Practice, the ideal candidate will be expected to have a deep level of expertise and vast knowledge base in core human resources management and HR service delivery and leverage that knowledge and experience in helping to develop solutions for our clients.  The advisor will successfully lead project activities, assess and consult with internal and external customers, and deliver high-quality work products on customer engagements. A successful candidate must be analytical, innovative, possess a strong sense of attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. It is critical that the advisor be able to present complex solutions and topics in a concise manner. The candidate must be comfortable blending multiple services lines and offerings into one harmonious deliverable and executive presentation for audiences of all levels and skillsets.

The successful candidate will have experience in the transformation of human capital practices. He/she must have a professional and practical understanding of Human Resources, practices, operations and service delivery, including how best practices and compliance requirements are implemented across various industry verticals, geographic locations and company sizes. The candidate should be well versed in assisting clients develop leading strategies and deploying solutions that improve service delivery, HR efficiency in service delivery and overall exceptional employee experiences.

  • Strong execution skills with the ability to convert strategies into actions and results
  • Experience in facilitating workshops to uncover client needs and design solutions around technology and service delivery
  • Experience building and delivering roadmaps to Senior Client Leadership
  • Exceptional ability to communicate compelling concepts to Senior Client Leadership
  • Exceptional analytical expertise
  • High degree of independence and accountability
  • Lead service and process design sessions via workshops
  • Create process flows and enable change for various shared services organizations
  • Map business service requirements to actionable services
  • Lead organizational change relative to engagement
  • Present subject matter expertise to wide audiences including webinars and other events
  • Be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to deal with ambiguous situations as well as advanced writing, verbal, and presentation skills


Position Requirements:

  • 5-7 years process modeling and process design experience
  • 5-7 years working with Enterprise business automation technologies (i.e. ServiceNow, SalesForce, Oracle, etc.)
  • 5-7 years of building and delivering roadmaps at a senior level for external client Shared Services organizations
  • At least 2 years previous experience working directly with external Enterprise clients as a Management Consultant (preferably with a Big 4 firm)
  • Previous experience facilitating Requirements Gathering with groups of 5-10
  • Ability to manage multiple clients
  • Ability to travel ~30% and on short notice
  • Certifications in Human Resources, Change Management and Lean/Six Sigma a plus
  • ServiceNow experience a plus
  • Previous Big 4 consulting experience a plus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large human resources engagements in concert with other Cask team members.
  • Conduct document reviews consisting of organizational policies, standards, and processes.
  • Conduct HR process discussions with customers to determine potential process risk and overall maturity.
  • Develop strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations tailored to each customer with the intent to remediate all identified risks and compliance gaps to improve a customer’s HR service delivery and employee experience.
  • Create detailed HR service delivery roadmaps with short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals that prioritize remediation recommendations and address all instances of non-compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory, contractual, and organizational obligations.
  • Develop HR Service Delivery process guides, that are custom tailored to each customer’s unique culture, HR transformation goals, and organizational objectives with industry best practices and compliance requirements are taken into consideration.
  • Work with other Cask Advisors and Consultants in a collaborative setting to support and assist on the execution and delivery of key ServiceNow implementation services such as HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, Onboarding and Transitions, and Employee Document Management.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%


Required Qualifications:

  • We seek a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Experience with the facilitation of process development for HRIS or service delivery solutions; Experience with ServiceNow administration or implementation a plus.
  • Prior experience working closely with customers and collaborating with HR and IT staff is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at one time.
  • Ability to work alone or in small teams, achieve established goals and objectives, and communicate progress in a timely and meaningful manner.
  • Current human resources certifications such as SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/CP are preferred.
  • Experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented, with an initiative to work until the job is complete
  • Willingness to travel on short notice
