Description:

We are looking for a Practice Principal to lead our growing Risk & Security practice at Cask. It is expected that our Practice Principal will own, enhance and grow our Risk & Security portfolio of products and services, including Security Operations (Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence) and Governance Risk & Compliance and is (or becomes) an expert in ServiceNow Risk and Security delivery applications.  It is also expected that our Practice Principal has a focus on the future, driving innovative, strategic direction and transformative solutions for our customers. The solutions developed out of the practice should follow our customer-mantra of “solving business problems by harnessing the power of their People, following a Process, enabled by Technology, and supported by their organization's Culture.” 

Our Practice Principal contributes to 4 pillars at Cask, including Sales, Delivery, Innovation and Marketing. Each of these are important contributing factor to customer success.

Sales & Enablement (25%)

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and business value to customers globally
  • Build executive level relationships with customers and the ServiceNow Risk and Security Product Line teams
  • Create, manage & maintain repeatable documents, presentations and case studies to enable our sales team
  • Create relevant metrics to showcase success for various types of Risk & Security projects
  • Determine customers' needs and desires through customer engagement and market research. 
  • Obtain product market share by working with regional sales directors to develop product sales strategies 
  • Provide pre-sales support, including scoping, pricing and proposal content support across the Security Operations and GRC disciplines
  • Help meet and/or exceed sales bookings for each quarter / year for your practice area


Delivery & Sr. Level Advisory Support (50%)

  • Lead strategic roadmapping sessions to define long term product and/or service transformational solutions with an actionable plan tied to results
  • Provide expert level guidance to internal and external customers on best practices and continuous improvement for Risk & Security.
  • Lead customer facing workshops and deliverables for our strategic accounts
  • Support delivery through executive level oversight in the execution of projects in your area of expertise with an eye toward creating new products and improving existing products
  • Review major milestone deliverables completed by Service Delivery prior to sending to customer
  • Provide the service delivery organization with enablement materials to effectively deliver new products and services
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, completing various relevant ServiceNow certifications; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Innovation & Differentiation (15%)

  • Identify opportunities for Cask to build innovative pre-packaged solutions to evolve Cask’s intellectual property with the focus on solving customer business problems
  • Work with the internal Cask solutions and delivery teams to focus on future innovation for Risk & Security
  • Bring new products to market by analyzing the business need with product requirements, developing internal budgets & preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules and ensuring sales, marketing and delivery are enabled.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by working with sales & marketing to review product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes.
  • Update business plans and strategies to lead your practice and ensure you meet your goals and/or identify needs out of leadership 

Marketing & Thought Leadership  (10%)

  • Determine Cask’s unique value proposition for the Risk & Security practice as well as unique solutions by assessing market competition & current business challenges
  • Support our marketing team by participating in media interviews, be interviewed for blogs and ensure Cask website content is reflective of the services we offer
  • Attend Cask marketing regional events and/or partner national events
  • Collaborate to develop marketing plans for products and aids in the creation of marketing content around those products including pricing of new offerings
  • Demonstrate thought leadership internally and externally

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk & Security consulting or professional services capacity
  • Minimum 5 years of experience defining security architectures utilizing Enterprise grade security platforms and technologies (i.e. Tenable, Splunk, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.)
  • BS or BA Required, Masters a plus
  • High quality written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus

Skills and Qualifications:

  • This role requires deep technical acumen in the areas of cyber security and compliance and an ability to form partnerships with external technology providers, internal service delivery staff, and industry experts.
  • Appropriate industry certifications for product area including CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, or related certifications
  • Ability to form Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) level relationships
  • Ability to listen and understand the customer - customer empathy
  • Product Development. Product Management, Requirements Analysis, Business Planning, Competitive Analysis, Sales Support, Financial Planning/Pricing and Business Strategy skills
  • Team player with the ability to work well across organizational boundaries
  • Real world experience in delivering solutions in their area of expertise
