Description:


Cask is looking for a Department of Defense (DoD) Account Executive with relevant experience in Federal technology integration using cloud technologies.  The ideal candidate is responsible for generating new sales from professional service offerings including IT Service Management (ITSM) and Operations, Technology Business Management, Portfolio and Project Management, Human Resources, Cyber Security, Legacy Application Modernization, and more. Cask offers a fast-paced, learning environment where you will be provided with the tools, resources, and team to sell solutions based on services connected to the ServiceNow ecosystem.  Sales will be achieved by researching prospect customers, using business development techniques, building account plans, and field-based sales activities.

 

Duties:


  • Developing a sales strategy with a target prospect list, and a sales plan.
  • Developing marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  • Being the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future roadmap to drive Cask services within the marketplace.
  • Doing whatever it takes to generate new leads, opportunities, and pipeline including telemarketing, emails, attending industry events, and event follow-ups.
  • Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Arranging and conducting initial meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to listen to a prospect’s pains and needs and identify a solution that is most applicable.
  • Sales process management and opportunity closure.
  • Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Consultants to successfully win new business.

 

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of direct, new business sales experience focused on in Department of Defense
  • A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
  • Consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Knowledge of working with Department of Defense contracts and contracting vehicles
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong sales, people and cultural awareness with high intellectual and emotional intelligence
  • Customer orientated, with high levels of engagement, and market focus
  • Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers around IT and other mission needs / lines of business
  • Experience and knowledge of new generation cloud-based tools (i.e. ServiceNow, Salesforce, Apptio, Workday etc.) and government cloud environments (i.e. FedRAMP)
  • Previous experience using CRM tools
  • Team Player
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience

 

 Highly Desirable:


  • Experience working and building relationships with customers
  • Examples of inspiring new and existing customers to commit to a journey of transformation, utilizing technology as a platform
  • Day-to-day, driving and managing a sales business with a strong cadence of deal closure on a monthly and quarterly basis; track record of consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple services, offerings, while building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
  • Consultative sales skills and the ability to construct and articulate a strong business case
  • Excellent analytical skills depending on different customer situations
  • Experience with ServiceNow ecosystem and/or ServiceNow partner
  • Experience with Air Force or Joint clients
