Description:
The Service Portal Architect is responsible for scoping and
developing business solutions on the ServiceNow platform utilizing the Service
Portal functionality. The Portal Architect as part of the Delivery phase, the
PA participates in design workshops and leads requirements gathering workshops
to develop a detailed list of solution requirements to enable world-class user
experiences on the Service Portal across all modules of ServiceNow.
Duties:
- Participates in design workshops and assists with keeping
track of requirements, action items and decisions made.
- Facilitates requirement gathering workshops to further
define known requirements as well as identify additional requirements necessary
to deliver a satisfactory end-user experience.
- Ensures all requirements are properly documented.
- Estimates level of effort for all requirements.
- Acts as the Scrum Master for all development activities.
- Ensures all solution information is properly documented
per Cask standards.
- Unit tests and Quality checks all development work before being turned over to the customer.
- Maintain current knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
- Participate in process improvement efforts.
- Participate in mandatory corporate functions.
- 5+ years of IT Operations and/or development experience
- 5+ years of experience configuring or developing solutions on the ServiceNow CMS and Service Portal platform(s)
- 5+ years of experience developing solutions with Javascript
- 5+ years of experience developing with HTML and CSS
- 3+ years of experience developing AngularJS
- 1+ Years of experience working with other Javascript libraries such as Node.JS or Typescript
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow Agile Development Application
- Agile/Scrum Software Development Methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
Education/Certifications:
- ITIL V3 Foundations
- Certified Scrum Master
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for Service
Portal
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
