Description:

Cask is currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Engineer (PE) to join our growing Enterprise Services team. As a ServiceNow PE you will be responsible for the evaluation, recommendation and build out of customer requirements on the ServiceNow platform utilizing ServiceNow defined best practices for configuration and development.


Duties:

  • Assist in gathering and/or reviewing client's process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption.
  • Scope solution requirements and configure solutions around the ServiceNow platform to meet customer needs and project deliverables.
  • Develop requirements for integration to the client’s environment (SSO, LDAP, etc.).
  • Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations.
  • Maintain high level of client satisfaction.
  • Identify new opportunities to provide additional value to clients and improve business performance.
  • Provide input on statements of work to help ensure appropriate level of effort.
  • Participate in growing and enhancing internal process for successful client delivery.
  • Enable business efforts through development of intellectual property (IP) Required Skills.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands on experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform
  • Proficient Knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Jelly or similar web technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS software configuration and/or development
  • Functional knowledge and implementation experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks working directly with customers and clients
  • Experience building and coding Configuration Management Databases (CMDB)
  • Working knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services
  • Working knowledge of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI or PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
  • Working knowledge of systems and network performance and availability monitoring and analysis as well as configuration management
  • Understanding of IT help desk and service management along with good understanding of the ITIL framework including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and/or Service Desk.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present ideas and processes to stakeholders with varying levels of technological experience
  • Experience dealing with technical end-users in a support role
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel Desired Skills and Certifications
  • Experience in other ITSM systems, such as BMC Remedy, CA Service Desk, or HP Service Manager (Peregrine)
  • Experience with Auditing and Compliance, and/or GRC applications as it relates to best practice frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, HIPPA, PCI and others a plus
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator a plus
  • ServiceNow Certified System Implementation Specialist Certification a plus
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer a plus
  • ITIL V3 Foundations a plus
  • Cobit 5 a plus
