 Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Austin, Texas


We are looking for a results-driven Sales Development Rep (SDR) to actively seek new business opportunities, engage, and build relationships with potential customers. As an SDR at System Surveyor, your primary role will be to actively prospect, qualify new leads, and set high quality meetings with our Account Executives creating a robust pipeline. This includes respectfully contacting prospects through cold and warm calls, emails, and web chat.   This role will also work closely with marketing and will host webinars as part of the duties and continued lead development.  It requires understanding the value proposition for our ideal customer types and to be very proficient with the product.  You’ll have all the right systems for the job including strong AI contact database and CRM.


 What you’ll do:

  • Contact potential B2B targeted prospects through emails, calls, and LinkedIn
  • Assist AE by prequalifying prospect's needs and aligning to next steps
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executive
  • Report to the sales leader with activity and results and manage dashboard
  • Host webinars along with CSM and other team members for training and prospect demos
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with the team and customer community
  • Work with marketing to qualify leads for Account Executive and potentially assist some segmented customers to close

 Extra Points for:

  • 1-2+ years of inside sales experience with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation
  • Tech savvy: SaaS is preferred, experience with physical security, AV or other systems a plus
  • Experience working with CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce.com, LinkedIn
  • Experience in a call center, inside sales, or business development role


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and webinar conferencing
  • Goal-oriented, sense of urgency, efficient, and deadline-driven
  • Virtual role with regular meetings with the team in person, requires professional place to work and network availability
  • Open to 5-10% of travel to tradeshows and local networking events
