Sr. HR Generalist
Location: Durham, NC / Wilmington, NC / NC Home Based
Job Summary: Carolina Complete Health Network is a vibrant business that engages with providers on behalf of a Medicaid prepaid health plan in North Carolina. The plan, Carolina Complete Health, is the only provider-led entity among the plans in the state’s recently transformed Medicaid system. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art care to Medicaid beneficiaries, resulting in better health and improved health equity at lower cost.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of recruitment
- Coordinate and conduct new-hire orientation and onboarding
- Lead the administration of the benefit programs in conjunction with a third-party vendor.
- Develop and administer new policies, approaches, and processes regarding employee relations; and federal and state compliance.
- Assist in building programs and leading activities that promote CCHN’s culture and values, employee recognition, and employee well-being.
- Anticipate, manage, and resolve complex, sensitive employee relations matters.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all HR employee data and make sure we have up-to-date documentation for all our employees.
- Provide HR support to the management team
- Ensure legal compliance in all areas related to Human Resources.
- Ensure all relevant records are effectively maintained.
- Facilitate open and effective communication at all levels throughout the organization.
- Maintain job descriptions
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area preferred
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and able to manage time
