The Senior Consultant serves as the project lead, business analyst, and Salesforce functional expert on implementation and support projects. They are responsible for gathering requirements, guiding the client to the right solution, and leading the design and configuration. Consultants can also serve as the interface between our clients and our developers for any projects requiring coding or custom integrations. On certain engagements, senior consultants serve as the project lead providing oversight for the project team, managing escalations and risks, and owning the customer relationship.
The Senior Salesforce Consultant will work on a large range of projects from six-week engagements with grassroots nonprofits to enterprise-sized implementations.
In this role, you will:
Build relationships with clients
Lead kickoffs and client engagement calls
Gather requirements in the form of user stories
Determine and document solution designs
Manage client expectations throughout a project
Configure Salesforce per client requirements
Write test scripts and guide clients through testing process
Train client admins and end-users on how to use (and administer) Salesforce
Work independently on smaller projects and as part of a team on larger implementations
Manage project risks, timelines, and budget
Assist in pre-sales scoping and discovery
Desired Skills and Experience:
4+ years of Salesforce consulting experience
Requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis
