Program Overview
The Association Internship Program is designed to provide interns with meaningful, hands-on experience in a Live Sports Show environment. The program serves as an opportunity for interns to develop professional skills, gain exposure to production operations and creative processes, and receive mentorship across various departments.
This is a paid position at $18.42/hour, and eligible interns may also receive college credit in coordination with their college/institution.
Fall Semester: 2 days per week from October 5, 2026 to December 18, 2026
Intern Responsibilities
Each intern will be assigned to a specific department for 2-3 weeks at a time, on rotation, as an official team member for the duration of the internship. Assignments are based on show needs as well as the candidate’s interest and experience. Interns will work on key initiatives and projects specific to the department they’re supporting, and they will also have the opportunity to work with other departments as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Current undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior or senior year, graduate students or recent college/university graduates
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Commitment to accuracy and responsibility for following journalism standards and practices
