The growing Data Analytics and Advancement Operations service domain seeks candidates with expertise in one or more fundraising databases (Raisers Edge, RENXT, Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, Ellucian, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Salsa, Neon, Virtuous, etc.). Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing support for client Database Management
  • Conducting database audits
  • Developing policies and procedures for moves management of major gift prospects
  • Providing coaching and developing policies and procedures on gift entry, acknowledgement, and donor relations processes
  • Providing training on the new set of policies
  • Database migration services
  • Counsel on communications and third-party fundraising tools and integration with the client’s primary CRM
  • Supervising database clean-up projects
  • Staying on top of industry trends and proposing strategies and ideas as they present themselves
  • Other Database Operations and Data Analytics services, as appropriate


Skills

  • Expertise in one or more fundraising databases (Raisers Edge, RENXT, Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, Ellucian, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Salsa, Neon, Virtuous, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of database infrastructure and configuration.
  • High-level understanding of APIs, data lakes, etc. and passing data securely between environments
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and writing
  • Ability to synthesize strategies and approaches in extensive formal written reports
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities and perform problem analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels
  • A dedication to keeping pace with a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and industry
  • Exercises strong strategic judgment, discretion and anticipation of needs (managing up/across project details)
  • Ability to thrive on change, innovation, and teamwork
  • Ability to confidently lead and drive work of professionals on internal and client teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Computer programming experience a plus (SQL, etc.)
  • Previous fundraising or development experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel (driver’s license required)
