Graham-Pelton Associates have an important role to play in the life of the company, from delivery of service to clients, to thought leadership, career mentorship, and participating in sales activity. Associates are part-time independent contractors who partner with Graham-Pelton, bringing together the benefits of autonomy and flexibility and the support and resources of a global fundraising firm. Associates join the company at many different levels of experience and expertise from mid-career to the Senior Executive level. Associates serve specific roles within the firm and our Practice Groups; during hiring conversations, we will discuss with you your areas of expertise and expectations about the amount of time you can deliver service on a monthly basis. Associates serve in one or more of Graham-Pelton’s Practice Groups: Healthcare, Higher Education, Independent Schools, and Social & Global Impact. Responsibilities
  • Provision of on and off-site counsel and deliverables to current clients engaged with Graham-Pelton which meet the brand and quality standards of the firm
  • Regular reporting of activity to the client (weekly or monthly depending on the service agreement)
  • Facilitation of key relationships with clients and with colleagues assigned to relevant projects
  • Participation in key client meetings required for successful client engagement which may include but are not limited to weekly meetings, remote or in person strategic discussions, and report deliveries
  • Ongoing project support to assigned clients
  • Participating in sales activities, if applicable and determined during the Associate onboarding process

 

Qualifications

 • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
 • Minimum of 5 years previous fundraising or development experience required
 • Willingness to travel (driver’s license required)
