We are looking to add a team member who is eager to bring their clean energy industry project management experience to the team, has an affinity for working with trade allies (approved contractors/vendors) and finds joy in their success, enjoys communicating, collaborating, problem solving, process improvement, and working with a diverse group of professionals. You will have the opportunity to develop process improvement strategies and creative solutions while collaborating with experts across all levels of the clean energy and energy efficiency industry and receive mentorship and support as you grow and pursue your passions in the industry. Your day-to-day will range from:

·        Developing and managing scope, schedule, and budgets

·        Attending, participating, and hosting meetings with clients and various stakeholders

·        Managing a group of trade allies and ensuring they have what they need to be successful

·        Distilling feedback and suggested program improvements, developing potential solutions, and presenting to the client

·        Developing solutions and strategies in collaboration with the Executive Leadership and client for needs such as:

o   Trade ally engagement and participation improvement

o   Process improvement strategies relating to trade ally participation and compliance

o   Trade ally diversity and community engagement strategies

o   Overall program and process improvement strategies, operating procedures, and process maps

o   Communication and program documentation gaps/barriers/areas of improvement

o   Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies and workforce development materials and workplan

 Position Details:

·        Project Management:

o   Manage and develop scope, Gantt Chart schedule, and budgets

o   Develop meeting agendas and host meetings with various parties such as clients, trade allies, stakeholders, internal teams, and subcontractors

o   Manage multiple trade allies and set up strategies for regular engagement

o   Develop methods for engagement efficiencies and ensuring trade allies have what they need easily accessible

o   Support development of, and deploy, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion workplan and workforce development strategy

o   Set up periodic in-field meetings with trade allies, including project site visits

o   Collect, condense, and develop solutions for addressing trade ally and process gaps/concerns and appropriately share with and work with client to implement

o   Develop and deploy methods for helping each trade ally find success in the program

o   Ensure trade allies are following program guidelines and helping them resolve if there are issues

o   Support customer / trade ally concerns

o   Complete weekly and monthly client reports

o   Ensure project success and client satisfaction

·        Strategy and Process Improvement:

o   Develop operations procedures, process maps, and visualizations to ensure processes are understandable at all levels

o   Identify gaps/issues/areas for improvement in current processes, operations, tools, and communications

o   Develop solutions and improvements for identified gaps/issues/areas for improvement

o   Nimble and outside-the-box solution development to a wide range of challenges

o   Engage with the team and client on continuous improvement strategies

o   Collaborate in the development of new concepts

o   Engage with and support new client opportunities


Years and type of experience:

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Enjoys working with diverse teams

·        Enjoys a virtual office environment with a mix of in-field engagement

·        Affinity for working with trade allies and finding joy in their success

·        Ability to translate and disseminate information in methods most digestible by the intended audience

·        Ability to develop and manage to a scope, schedule, and budget

·        Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs

·        PowerBI and ArcGIS experience is a plus

·        Energy Efficiency, Solar Energy, or corollary industry project management background, with understanding or hands-on experience in scope, schedule, budget, team and client leadership and development

·        5-7 years of experience
