Position Mission:  The Audit Manager is responsible for achieving and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by providing a combination of accounting, audit, audit prep and peer review services. The position requires a strong work ethic in dealing with multiple clients simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Work hours as needed to complete projects.

·         Complete projects in compliance with professional standards, within budget, agreed upon timeline.

·         Develop, build, and maintain strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

·         Coordinate team workload for engagements and assist team as needed to ensure all deadlines are met.

·         Review and prepare nonprofit organization information returns: Exempt Orgs (Form 990, 990-PF).

·         Plan and supervise audits, reviews, and compilations; review and prepare financial statements.

·         Manage and perform audit prep and business advisory services.

·         Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients and participate in new client proposals.

·         Lead and participate in internal and external training sessions.

 

Requirements:

·         7+ years of public accounting experience (CPA preferred).

·         Prior success at conducting external audits (nonprofit industry preferred).

·         Knowledge of Lacerte tax software preferred.

·         Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop and QuickbooksOnline.

·         Superior analytical and presentation skills.

·         Follow through on commitments.

·         Enthusiastic and able to motivate others.

·         Proactive, ability to take initiative.

·         Excellent written and oral communication ability.

·         Strong time management and organizational skills.
