Human Resources Generalist

Cirrus Insight is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations, recruiting, managing the administration of the policies and procedures, and collaborating with leadership to develop programs for talent development.  

Role Description

This is a strategic role requiring someone who enjoys finding and attracting candidates in various business critical roles, planning and developing programs with multiple offices, and has attention to detail while particularly interested in the professional development of Cirrus Insight personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize our PEO: Cirrus Insight partners with a leading and dedicated professional employer organization (PEO). Responsibilities include managing the Benefits Administrator and Human Capital resource specialist. Administer the supporting system for compensation, benefits, paid time off, learning and development, and compliance human resources operations.  

  • Talent acquisition: Assess current staffing gaps, determine current staffing needs and project future needs consistent with the Cirrus Insight roadmap and budget plan. Develop hiring plans, talent acquisition strategies and communicate them to all stakeholders and managers. Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs. Execute recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.). Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events. 

  • Candidate and employee experience: Take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience. Organize onboarding to increase velocity, ensure incumbents feel welcome, prepared to hit the ground running and have the appropriate tools to complete their responsibilities.

  • Human capital development: Develop a career path. Cultivate mentorships across groups, geographies, and departments. Facilitate annual and ongoing review. 

  • Compensation, benefit and reward review: 

  • Change management: Foster cross-department and cross-geography communications and consistency. 

  • Build the brand: Lead employment branding initiatives. Ensure all public-facing assets and hiring websites are updated.

  • Employee welfare: Our employee safety, wellness, health, and counselling is important. Work with HR resources to develop and implement policy documents and handbooks that can be referenced by employees.


Skills and Specifications:

  • Proven experience as talent acquisition manager

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding

  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques

  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards

  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles

  • Excellent communicator

  • Well-organized

  • A leader and strategic thinker

  • Four-year Bachelors Degree

United States-based, preferred Knoxville, TN or Irvine, CA
