THE ROLE:

THE WELL is looking for talented people who care about customers and are passionate about building a platform that improves people’s health and well being. As a member of THE WELL’s digital team, you will be an integral part of the product development process, inform business decisions and report on our SLOs and KPIs. The digital team works closely with our marketing, e-commerce and operations teams to develop new features for our platform. We are a close-knit collaborative community whose culture is rooted in mutual respect, empathy and the drive to help our customers take greater agency for their health

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover the drivers of user engagement and retention, and produce actionable recommendations
Guide the instrumentation, testing, and analysis of new features in collaboration with the product team
Collaborate with our engineering team to drive improvements in data quality for reporting and ad hoc analysis
Build scalable reporting and visualizations to help teams measure product and business performance
Partner with key business stakeholders to define near, mid and long-term implications of key analyses

ABOUT YOU:

3+ years working as a data analyst or data scientist
Excellent knowledge of SQL and data structures
Good understanding of ETL and data pipelines
Hands-on experience cleaning and aggregating large data sets for analysis and visualization
Familiarity with data infrastructure and cloud architecture a plus
Ability to solve problems in a thoughtful and pragmatic way

KEY TRAITS:

High emotional intelligence and communication skills for collaborating with other team members
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with A/B testing
Organized with the ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight
The ability to be flexible as business needs and processes evolve
The desire to stay up to speed on emerging technologies and identify the best way to apply them to THE WELL
