The Role: 
THE WELL is seeking a digital marketer with a passion for wellness to join our team as Digital Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of digital marketing experience, especially at a start-up, in the DTC eComm space or in the hospitality or wellness industries.

This role would work closely with functional leaders across all departments — from Editorial and Creative to Digital Product and Operations. This position provides dedicated digital support on our Marketing Team to create improved results in the areas of eCommerce revenue contribution, SEO, customer acquisition and retention, email marketing and ambassador marketing.

The Opportunity
  • Manage the implementation and optimization of digital channels with a focus on maximizing incremental ROI, boosting the market presence of THE WELL and increasing customer loyalty and engagement
  • Drive database growth strategies and ensure the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities
  • Manage and implement tailored comms strategies to re-engage and nurture unengaged audiences
  • Optimize the CRM platform structure and architecture ensuring it works seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle
  • Manage scheduling and deployment of email and text communications
  • Develop testing strategies for the CRM to ensure the most effective approach for THE WELL
  • Manage, maintain and promote the brand’s website with content updates and SEO strategy under the guidance of Growth Marketing Manager and agency partners
  • Manage gathering and implementing customer reviews for all offerings including, but not excluded to eCommerce, services and ongoing programs
  • Provide support in implementing and managing our ambassador program
  • Monitor market research to better understand the current competitive landscape and provide on-the-trend ideas
  • Collaborate with the Digital Product team to optimise the website’s performance, UI/UX and conversion through effective experiments
  • Provide content for Monthly Marketing Reports and Quarterly Reviews to communicate that digital targets are met and that growth is actualized

The Person We Need
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • You have a proven track record of implementing tactics that support data-driven digital marketing programs leveraging both best practices and new techniques that have resulted in sustained growth in website traffic and revenue, active email list members, social media followers and/or audience engagement
  • You are able to contribute to strategic plans that achieve objectives through email, social media and paid advertising campaigns
  • You are experienced in and have knowledge of CRM and database growth strategies
  • You have knowledge of current digital strategies and techniques, including but not limited to: email marketing and acquisition, audience segmentation, A/B testing, website content management and content marketing, SEM/SEO, organic and paid social media
  • Able to toggle between left and right brain (creative, strategic, analytical)
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
