ABOUT YOU:
THE WELL is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to design, manage, optimize and scale THE WELL direct-response marketing programs across paid social, search, retargeting, affiliate and influencer marketing.
The ideal candidate will have prior growth marketing experience for a D2C eCommerce brand. The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining a holistic strategy for customer acquisition and retention primarily for our D2C eCommerce business, with some additional support for our physical Clubs. You must be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and agency partners in an ever-evolving fast paced environment. You will need to think big, use data to guide your work, and be comfortable challenging convention.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Drive acquisition and retention strategies across marketing channels
Manage the day-to-day of direct-response marketing programs across paid social, search, retargeting, affiliate, and influencer marketing
Develop and scale new channels quickly and efficiently
Optimize existing channel growth
Produce analysis, insights and visibility on performance (and be willing to roll up your sleeves and do the data work yourself)
Build various overarching models that ensure we’re running a tight business (tracking CAC, LTV and attribution)
Innovate in partnership with the broader THE WELL Marketing team to drive cross functional initiatives that improve D2C experience
Partner with THE WELL Digital team and Digital Marketing Manager to recommend optimization opportunities tied to growth marketing across digital platforms
Own marketing channel development, produce the testing roadmap for 3-5 new platforms and execute on tests
Effectively manage budget to business goals and financial targets
KEY TRAITS:
5+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a deep focus on acquisition, retention and life cycle
Familiarity with performance tracking, measurement and attribution
Deep knowledge of Google Analytics
Proven marketer who understands and has worked across the full D2C marketing funnel
Highly analytical, structured thinker who is able to glean clear, salient ideas from complex information and effectively communicate them to stakeholders
Solutions-oriented, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Excited at the prospect of helping develop structure around something new
Highly organized “doer” with an exceptional ability to multitask, who will take initiative and execute
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Prior experience in a start-up or similar environment
Equally comfortable powering through Excel models as you are crafting creative presentations
Possess enthusiasm, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth-mindset
Knowledge of affiliate and influencer marketing and industry best practices
Experience in Health & Wellness industry is a plus
Experience with Klaviyo for email and text marketing is a plus
