THE OPPORTUNITY:


THE WELL is seeking an Events & Brand Experiences Manager to lead the strategy, planning and execution of member programming, launch events, brand activations, partner events, community-driving experiences, Club rituals and more. 


This is a cross-functional role, reporting to the VP of Marketing and VP of Business Development.



THE DAY TO DAY:


- Develop a vision and strategy that spans all business units and creates value for our Members, partners and guests

- Ensure we are maximizing efforts that drive revenue and/or Membership growth, while balancing with efforts that are brand-building or buzzworthy

- Develop the brand playbook and SOPs for programming and events to ensure consistency as we scale with new Club locations and/or we take events outside our four walls

- Manage all incoming outside event leads

- Assemble and distribute consistent pre-event communication and banquet event orders that clearly outline every requirement for Operations

- Conduct event space site tours and maintain relationships thorough follow-up methods

- Proactively establish preferred partnerships with clients for repeat programming and events

- Prepare and present proposals and contracts both written and verbal in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant and professional manner

- Maintain files, records and reporting as it pertains to: budgets, contacts, planning activities, timelines, contracts and post meeting notes

- Participate in special projects, presentations and events as requested

- Identify and recommend new ideas, technologies or processes to increase organizational efficiency

- Participate in forecast and budget process and P&L meetings as requested

- Conduct business analysis such as market research, competitor intelligence and benchmarking

- Establish a system to vet partners that we bring into the Club through our brand standards

- Provide visual communication and creative direction on all aspects of programming and events that is in line with our brand standards

- Effectively communicate the events calendar across the organization (Club and HQ), with a focus on identifying opportunities to align efforts

- Collaborate and communicate with the broader Marketing Team (PR, social, digital) on ongoing basis to maximize exposure of programming and events strategy

- Interface with Club Operations to ensure a best-in-class execution of programming and events

- Stay informed of industry trends and opportunities


 

KEY TRAITS: 


-5+ years of experience working in events

-Proven ability to generate programming or event activations and to develop a network of brand-aligned partners in wellness, fitness, F&B and hospitality spaces

-Strategic thinker with ability to cultivate long-term vision and short-term execution plan

-Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs

-Comfortable preparing reports for senior-level stakeholders

-Analytical with the ability to recognize trends and recommend business improvements

-Strong ability to multitask and problem solve

-Highly organized with communication, project planning and relationship management

-Self-starting with ability to take initiative and ownership over their own projects

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
