Role: Phlebotomist, Part-Time

THE WELL is looking to hire a part-time phlebotomist who will be working 3 - 10 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in performing blood draws and have an advanced comfort level working with patients. This candidate will be responsible for drawing blood, correctly labeling vials and entering information into a computer system. The candidate should have a diploma in phlebotomy and advanced knowledge of puncture techniques. This is a rewarding role offering competitive pay. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist 

• Diploma in Phlebotomy 

• Experience with effective puncture techniques

• Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood, handling fluid samples and use of relevant medical equipment and material

• Ability to use computers to enter information

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail and organization

• Ability to connect with patients and make them feel comfortable
