The Role: 

We are seeking an experienced digital marketer with a passion for wellness to join our team as Digital Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of previous digital marketing experience, especially at a start-up and/or in the hospitality or wellness industries. This role would report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with functional leaders across all departments—from Editorial and Creative to Membership and Operations.

This position provides dedicated digital support on our Marketing Team to create improved results in the areas of eCommerce revenue contribution, SEO / SEM, Member acquisition and retention and email marketing.

The Opportunity

-       Manage the strategy, implementation, analytics, and optimization of digital channels with a focus on maximizing incremental ROI, boosting the market presence of THE WELL and increasing customer loyalty and engagement

-       Monitor database growth strategies and ensure the member and full-file database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities

-       Optimize the CRM platform structure and architecture ensuring it works seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle

-       Work closely with all departments to ensure the CRM works effectively for all aspects of the company, particularly our Membership & Community Team

-       Manage scheduling and deployment of email communications with customers through the CRM, driving content, e-commerce and Membership growth

-       Develop testing strategies for all aspects of the CRM and eCommerce platform to ensure the most effective approach for THE WELL

-       Optimize placement, products/programs, and content to increase traffic and drive revenue

-       Manage, maintain and promote the brand’s website with content updates and SEO strategy

-       Improve user experience and conversion of the brand website by identifying behavioral and traffic patterns of users.

-       Own and manage the brand website to optimise its performance, UI/UX and conversion through effective experiments.

-       Provide content for Monthly Marketing Reports and Quarterly Reviews to communicate that digital targets are met and that growth is actualized


The Person We Need

·         3-5 years of experience

·         You have a proven track record of creating data-driven digital marketing programs and implementing both best practices and new techniques that have resulted in sustained growth in website traffic and revenue, active email list members, social media followers and audience engagement

·         You are able to develop strategic marketing plans that achieve objectives through email, social media and paid advertising campaigns

·         You are experienced in and have comprehensive knowledge of CRM and database growth strategies

·         You have comprehensive knowledge of current digital strategies and techniques, including but not limited to: email marketing and acquisition, audience segmentation, A/B testing, website content management and content marketing, SEM/SEO, organic and paid social media

·         Able to toggle between left and right brain (creative, strategic, analytical)

·         Extremely organized and detail-oriented

·         Passionate about wellness

·         Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
