This role provides a unique opportunity for an ambitious self-starter to become an integral member of the business development team. As we continue to grow our organization, we are seeking an experienced Manager to liaise and manage key aspects of New Business. This role would be working directly with client leadership and provides executive level exposure.


  • Oversight of process for client teams to respond to new business needs across RFIs, RFP, and client presentations, including budget coordination
  • Manage and monitor new business opportunities via dashboard and report on activity as requested by leadership
  • Assemble new business presentations and RFIs and RFPs responses within tight timelines while coordinating across multiple teams
  • Organize prospect background materials to support new business
  • Research key industry developments and trends in key client verticals to help the team apply that vertical and client expertise in winning new business leveraging relevant data sources (ex. Global Data)
  • Take and distribute notes at meetings and during pitch related activities with  key insights/next steps
  • Coordinate & participate in interviews with thought leaders and/or other subject matter experts
  • Develop timelines and calendars with input from relevant departments, ensuring timelines remain accurate throughout the life of a given project
  • Timeline management of team members of upcoming due dates and alert the key partners should if dates shift along the life cycle of the task
  • Prepare submissions for new business projects and deliverables, ensuring agency resources production, strategy, creative and proofreaders, are all assigned and ready to execute
  • Participate in the business development team’s strategy development process, including ongoing recommendations on continual enhancements, quarterly program planning, budgeting, and post pitch analyses
  • Help maintain server for easy reference and access to critical documents and resources for pitch responses
  • Update and maintain the new business asset library: Organize existing assets and ensure updates made to resources, including case studies, images, videos, bios, therapeutic area experiences, capabilities, internal processes, etc.
  • May temporarily support transition of won business to assigned account team members by providing necessary account and project background

What you Bring:

  • Completion of a 4-year degree
  • 1+ years experience in project management or business development in an agency setting; some pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a plus work experience; internship experience will be considered
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail in terms of design and copy is essential to make the best impression to clients
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of energy and sense of humor
  • Ability to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills. Fluency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
