Purpose of Role

The primary focus of the Program Coordinator I position is to support the Program Management team. In this role, you will assist with planning and implementing various programs at Canopy Health. Project Management outputs consist of charters, workplans, RAID logs, and creating summary materials for various stakeholders. In collaboration with the Program Managers, the Program Coordinator I will implement small projects and help manage cross functional teams.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

1. Program Support: Assist with planning design and implementation of strategic initiatives including the development of charters, work plans, schedules and scope

 

2. Document Support: Support Program Managers by developing/maintaining project management documents and tools such as RAID logs, timelines, charters, change requests, etc. Assist Program Managers with the management of a portfolio of projects ensuring coordination of shared resources, resolving conflicts and identifying dependencies across projects and departments.

 

3. Project Management: Plan small projects under the guidance of a Program Manager including feasibility studies, charter development, timeline, and workplan development

 

4. Communication Management: Create summary materials and content for internal and external communications independently and in conjunction with Program Managers

 

5. Team Management: Help manage cross functional teams by collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders. Assist with meeting scheduling and coordination of committee materials.

 

 

Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience/Skills/Certifications)

Education/License:    Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience:  1-2 years of administrative or project management experience with a provider, health plan, hospital, or other health care focused (e.g. vendor) organization

Qualifications/Skills Required: 

·         Passion about expanding consumer choice and improving health care for the San Francisco Bay Area

·         Proactive, flexible, team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team trust quickly

·         Able to produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures

·         Experience in data analysis or clinical research a plus

·         Organized, with excellent problem-solving and time management skills

·         Comfortable with ambiguity

·         Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to appropriately adjust content/style to audience and timing

·         Able to take coaching and feedback

·         Comfortable with physician leaders, physician offices, nurses, pharmacists and other clinical care settings

·         Proficient with Microsost Office Suite, Smartsheets, Visio, and Monday.com platform experience a plus
