DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage market access program to support prior authorization/appeal activities including daily operations, program quality, training, and reporting
  • Provide internal and external customers with complete, accurate, and compliant information on documentation, coding, coverage and payment
  • Develop and provide informational programs and collateral support materials to customers to optimize product reimbursement
  • Manages projects and develops materials to effectively communicate the reimbursement and health economics of Vertiflex products
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and other departments to support cross-functional needs related to Health Economics and Reimbursement
  • Provides market feedback to corporate management on customer business trends, competitive updates and industry issues and opportunities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; 5+ years related experience can substitute for education requirement
  • 3-5 years’ experience in health care reimbursement
  • Knowledge of health care provider issues related to reimbursement, practice economics, payer processes such as prior authorization/appeals, etc.
  • Knowledge of medical device coding, coverage, and payment including Medicare and commercial insurance for physicians, hospitals, and ASCs
  • Experience working with organizational decision makers including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory
  • Experience working directly with sales representatives
  • Working knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Project management skills
