We are looking for an experienced, relationship-driven, passionate, high-performing, high-impact, and motivated individual to join the Kanarys team as a Sales Executive.  We are looking for someone comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative startup environment, and ready to drive our business success by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy to turn leads and prospects into paid company partners. The Sales Executive ultimately is responsible for generating new business opportunities and seeking out new initiatives and clientele that are ideal partners. Here's what the role entails:

·  Create and manage sales strategy in target market to meet company objectives

·   Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospect platform partners focused on their business needs and strategic priorities

·    Evaluate Kanarys product capabilities to form a solution to meet client needs and drive revenue

·   Manage all aspects of the account relationship in a hands-on manner – deliver sales and product demonstrations, and manage technical and commercial interactions

·   Effectively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiating commercial agreements to closing the deal

·   Enhance staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answer technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teach improved processes; mentor team members

·     Recruit, train, and coach new sales team leaders

·    Lead, build and manage sales strategy meetings in addition to preparing and delivering sales reports

·   Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to improve the product to meet needs based on discussions with potential business prospects

·    Identify the ideal customer personal profiles to penetrate, influence, and drive sales and develop additional delivery capabilities

·       Deliver on assigned revenue targets in assigned accounts

·  Consistent communication with Product Team to identify product enhancements / modifications a

·   Analyze sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective

·    Conduct in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·   5+ years of experience working as a Strategic Sales, Operations, Sales Executive or similar role, preferably with a proven record of startup sales

·    Minimum of 3 years of SaaS sales experience (enterprise level to mid-market) preferred

·       Proven closing experience of high value startup SaaS sales

·      Good knowledge of digital marketing and telemarketing

·      Great command of CRM and BRM tools

·   Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

·      Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·      An entrepreneurial spirit/self-starter with time management; planning, and organization skills

·       A genuine desire to create more equitable workplaces!

·       Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

·     The ability to provide exceptional guidance via email, phone, video, and in person

·     An ability to spot trends and share them with the Team

·     Desire to grow and lead a team

·    Proficient in Excel (& similar spreadsheet tools), PowerPoint/Slides, Microsoft Teams
