Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate performs various functions in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations. This includes:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintaining the organization of the warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments

Work in MS excel to prepare shipments when needed

Print labels for items being shipped

Assist in resolving any issues or complaints that may arise regarding shipping and receiving

Performing AED inspections as needed

Performing deliveries as needed
-
Supporting an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations, and communicating the company’s goals or objectives

Respond to inquiries related to shipping or transportation matters

Work with UPS, FedEx Ship Manager, & USPS software for shipping processes
-
Assist with ensuring inventory is at proper stock and organized for FIFO

Continually track and document inventory, and assist with the completion of monthly tracings reports when required

Fulfill client orders

Continually maintain a clean and safe work environment for self and others.

Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Experience in warehouse operations
-
Good problem solving, and has good written and verbal communication skills,
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Ability to remain customer-focused
-
Must possess a valid driving license and have a reliable vehicle for dropping shipments off to the carrier.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. using proper body techniques to avoid injury.

Basic understanding of shipping software systems.

Intermediate to Advanced PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel at minimum, Google sheets and other Google apps.

Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus!
