The Manufacturing Operator will support the Company's operations, namely the manufacturing and inventory management functions.
Responsibilities
- Supports Acera’s manufacturing processes.
- Executes various operations required during the production process instructions/guidelines.
- Operates production machinery/equipment while following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed.
- Trains and follows procedures required for GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) or clean room manufacturing.
- Tests & inspects for any production related issues.
- Follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Communicates updates on production status.
- Assists in troubleshooting various issues, as needed.
- Assists with the management of on-site inventory.
- Performs, organizes, and streamlines operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors.
- Helps with upkeep of the manufacturing facility.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participates as needed with special projects or requests.
- Able to flex and help the cross functional team (such as but not limited to Product development team, Customer Service team etc.) •
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Work hands-on while standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift (up to 50 lbs.) of weights from time to time.
- Be able to follow directions & written procedures.
- Efficient time management skills.
- High degree of accuracy in documentation; excellent attention to detail; ability to self-check and self-correct work before finalizing.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate good judgement, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Must be able to do simple mathematics.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; able to professionally accommodate frequent change and unexpected events. Maintain high performance standards and perform independently in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
- Demonstrate initiative to assist management when opportunities arise.
Experience
- Minimum high school graduate; technical degree is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing environment (1+ year) required.
- Previous experience in clean room setting is a plus.
- Proven track record of adhering to safety practices.
- Demonstrated ability to meet required standards of GMPs.
- Experience following very specific instructions
