Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
•    Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
•    Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns in compliance with state and local regulations.
•    Handle Payroll report Coding and ensure proper classification of payroll transactions.
•    Conduct daily cash reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.
•    Oversee the preparation and distribution of 1099 forms.
•    Reclassify expense reports to ensure proper allocation of expenses.
•    Manage Accounts Payables, including processing invoices and payments.  
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•    0-2 years of accounting experience
•    Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
•    Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
