Human Resources Generalist
Summary/Objective

As a support to the Chief of Staff, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level including recruiting, HR reporting, employee relations, employment law compliance, policy administration, performance management and benefits. Essential Functions
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Provide guidance to leadership in performance management situations. Assist in drafting and preparing documents related to performance management and employee relations issues and other HR-managed activities.
- Conduct and lead employee disciplinary investigations in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Process bi-weekly timecards and payroll processing ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
- Serve as first point of contact for employees for all HR-related matters and questions including benefits, employee relations, payroll, leaves of absence, PTO, training, etc.)
- Serve as a trusted business partner and coach for leadership at all levels.
- Support annual performance management process.
- Partner with department leadership to determine employee training needs and assign designated trainings to identified employees.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Responsible for driving company culture through the organization.
- Support and process all on-boarding and off-boarding activities to include new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and employee changes as required.
- Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

Required Education, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or business-related field
- 3+ years proven experience as an HR generalist
- 3+ years payroll experience
- Experience with TriNet Payroll/HR system a plus
- HR experience should demonstrate knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations on employment laws, recruitment practices, employee relations, training, and onboarding.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational, and time management skills.
- Relationship focused with excellent interpersonal skills and approachable style.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Work Environment
The position operates in a conditioned facility.

This is a full-time position.
