Financial Wellness Education Specialist

BrightPlan is seeking a highly organized and experienced Financial Wellness Education Specialist  to play a pivotal role in our mission to empower everyone to have access to financial wellness. 

 

As a Specialist on BrightPlan’s Financial Education team, you will be responsible for curating, organizing, and delivering impactful financial education content globally. Your enthusiasm about improving lives through financial wellness education, combined with your strong project management and organizational skills, will be instrumental in enhancing our clients' financial health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage a library of financial education resources, including articles, videos, webinars, calculators, assessments, and interactive tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a comprehensive global financial education content strategy.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to create engaging and empowering financial education content that caters to diverse audience needs.

  • Assist in the creation and editing of financial education materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with educational objectives.

  • Coordinate the setup, scheduling, and delivery of webinars and workshops, collaborating with presenters and technical teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Engage in regular research to stay current with financial trends, regulations, and industry updates, integrating relevant information into content.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop new content ideas and initiatives that address evolving financial education needs.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of content, gathering feedback from participants and using analytics to refine content strategies.

  • Assist in the development and management of educational materials tailored for specific client segments or demographic groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Education, Psychology or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Proven experience in financial education, content creation, or curriculum development.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for content creation, webinar setup, and engagement.

  • Familiarity with a wide variety of financial topics such as budgeting, investing, retirement planning, equity compensation, and tax strategies.

  • Experience facilitating webinars/training and comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups of people

  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.

  • Passion for financial education and empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing needs.

  • Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner™, AFC, CFT-I™, etc. are a plus but not required for this position.

At BrightPlan, base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, related job skills, residence location, as well as market indicators. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the base pay range for this role is listed annually below.

The minimum and maximum annual salary for this Content Management Specialist position is $65,000 to $95,000.

 

This position is eligible for BrightPlan's standard benefits offering, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company contribution, annual performance bonus, life insurance, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
