About the role
As a Financial Wellness Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for clients through scheduled appointments and point in time conversations. You will guide clients on how to use the BrightPlan platform to gather financial information and to discuss their individual financial situation with the purpose of improving their financial plan. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and responding to client issues within the BrightPlan experience.
The Value You Deliver
Being available to help clients by phone, email, chat and video appointments, responding promptly to questions and resolving issues with their financial planning and investment accounts
Become an expert on BrightPlan products so that you can facilitate client engagement with our educational blogs, seminars, and goal setting solutions to drive ongoing and repeat usage and engagement by employees.
Provide financial knowledge, expertise coaching strategies and investment direction that employees can use to plan life financial goals and objectives, in areas such as taxes, cash management, employee stock options, college budgeting, insurance, estate planning, and investment planning.
Become an expert on customer employee benefits so that you can educate employees on how to maximize the benefits to improve their overall wellness.
Provide expertise and guidance for employees on the BrightPlan partner network used to provide deeper planning expertise in areas such as tax, estate and other planning speciality areas
Develop repeatable processes by leading, shaping and executing customer support initiatives, including knowledge base content development, product marketing and corporate user communications in collaboration with internal Marketing and Product teams including cross team communications and reporting.
Identify and transition clients who have more complex planning needs to a BrightPlan Wealth Management Team.
Capture ongoing customer feedback to participate as a key “voice of the customer” champion for product enhancements, customer systems or process updates, and business approaches
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Previous success in customer facing service and sales roles with a background, interest and/or experience in personal finance.
Bachelor's Degree and/or other professional certifications are helpful.
Series 65 or 66/ CFP®/on the path to obtaining the CFP® designation.
Results-oriented, goal focused individual with a bias for action and with exceptional attention to detail who is comfortable working independently
Comfort in a fast-paced, start-up environment with an eye for building sustainable processes at scale and excitement to deliver a best-in-class client support experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A quiet, designated work space at home with a high-speed internet connection; must be appropriate for handling confidential client information and video calls
We need you to be eligible for permanent employment by any employer in the US, and you must reside and work from within the US. In states and locations requiring salary disclosure (including but not limited to Colorado, California, and New York City), the standard base pay range for this role is $70,000 to $94,000 annually. In determining total compensation for our roles, we consider candidate knowledge, experience, and location. We are not accepting agency referrals for this role.
