The role and responsibilities:

  • Hands on Senior software developer with expertise in Salesforce development and Object oriented design. Directly work as part of our engineering project teams. 

  • Responsible for efficient RDBMS schema design, query optimization, Restful APIs 

  • Leads and participates in architecture, software design and code reviews . Troubleshoot and resolve issues as applicable.

  • Collaborate with other team members of the engineering team to build an enterprise grade backend for our digital platform, built on Salesforce.

  • Build application resilience through efficient algorithms and deep understanding of the Salesforce platform. 

  • Demonstrates ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and self-management.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Loves clean software design and and writing code

  • Has Salesforce certification (Platform Developer I or II) or equivalent expertise

  • Has deep understanding of Salesforce Governance limits, Salesforce security

  • Is skilled at experimenting with different concepts to come up with the best technical options quickly

  • Has depth of experience that comes from being with products long enough to see the impact of your technical decisions.

  • Has 5-15 years of experience as a backend (or Server side) engineer in commercially available product used at scale

  • Has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent expertise
