Problem Resolution Specialist (Remote/Part-Time/Night Shift)

As a Problem Resolution Specialist, you will be a contact for clients and the internal BrightPlan Team. You will be responsible for promptly troubleshooting, resolving, and responding to customer issues within the BrightPlan digital experience. You will also become an expert in the BrightPlan Application and help clients navigate and engage with BrightPlan in a mission to help them learn, set, and monitor their Financial Wellness goals.
The Value You Deliver
- Being available to help clients by phone, email, chat and video, responding promptly to questions and resolving issues with their financial planning and investment accounts
- Proactively identify, analyze and resolve customer problems as they arise; manage and resolve issues with internal stakeholders, including answering key questions, researching, and solving problems.
- Provide input to the team on changes to our processes by collaborating with internal Marketing, Customer, Product and Education teams.
- Deliver feedback on internal processes (including bug tracking and reporting) and product feature opportunities to drive efficiency, excellence, and cross team collaboration for ongoing process improvements to the BrightPlan Client and Customer Success teams.
- Display ownership of customer relationships and participate in each situation presented from beginning to end to ensure the customer’s concern(s) are resolved and customer success is prioritized.
- Capture ongoing customer feedback to participate as a key “voice of the customer” champion for product enhancements, customer systems or process updates, and business approaches
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Customer Support, help desk, or related experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- Background, interest, and/or experience in personal finance or related industry.
- Commitment to excellence, bias for action, and exceptional attention to detail
- Excitement to deliver a best-in-class customer support experience.
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute on key strategic BrightPlan objectives.
- A quiet, designated workspace at home with a high-speed internet connection; must be appropriate for handling confidential client information and video calls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a passion for building sustainable processes
This position is part-time (20 hours per week) and is night-shift.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the base pay range for this role is listed hourly below. The minimum and maximum hourly wage for this Problem Resolution Specialist position is $18 - $23 per hour.
