The Technical Project Manager (TPM)  will work with one of our newest clients based on the East Coast. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a technology project plan, which outlines a project's tasks, milestone dates, status, and allocation of resources to stakeholders and other interested parties. The technical project manager is responsible for clearly defining and quantifying each step, as well as establishing concrete deadlines for each project milestone and deliverable. 

The ideal candidate must be able to manage project scope, and schedules and must have a demonstrated ability to anticipate problems and to find resolutions before that problem can derail a major milestone or deliverable. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and articulate business requirements as conveyed by clients and internal team members and have the ability to turn written and verbal instructions into comprehensive Business Requirements.  They must be able to work on multiple large programs simultaneously, manage change, and think critically to complete projects.


  • Act as a liaison between clients, vendor partners, internal clients, and data engineers to define marketing campaign requirements.

  • Write business requirement documents detailing the inputs, outputs, processing, and personalization rules for the execution of each campaign.

  • Partner with data engineers to ensure accurate execution, including the mandate of quality checks at every stage of the production process.

  • Collaborate with the account team on audience targeting, test strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements.

  • Work through program priorities, resource allocations, and escalations as necessary.

  • Work through research requests and troubleshoot issues to determine effective and efficient resolutions.

  • Manage data integration points between the client, account team, and vendor partners.

  • Build and manage project timelines to ensure all milestones are met.

  • Manage day to day file transfers and file QC’s.

  • Develop process improvements to make workflows more efficient and ensure programs achieve optimal results.

  • Work with internal teams to determine scope of new programs, requirements, and prioritization of enhancements.

  • Create documentation on new technology for internal team members.

  • Develops and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum 5 years of related project management experience.

  • Direct mail, email, and/or digital marketing experience is strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in GSuite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)

  • Working technical knowledge (HTML, javaScript, CSS, XML, TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP) required for front server side development in WEB application

  • Database design and construction in relational database (SQL)

  • One or more of the following experiences apply: Experience in the implementation of a system related to MA, Digital Marketing Solution (online targeting etc.), CRM, SFA, BI etc. (proposal / construction / operation), software / SAAS
