This is a full-time, entry level position reporting to a Senior Director of Product. We are considering remote candidates based in the United States for this position.

 Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring product roadmap features are consistently translated into well-defined product requirements
  • Drafting user stories with acceptance criteria for the next 2-3 prioritized sprints
  • Managing the product backlog items with product management and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
  • Participate in a team culture that drives alignment between cross-functional teams, including product management, design/user experience, engineering, content operations, enterprise systems, marketing, and customer service
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Facilitating sprint retrospectives with scrum team leader and product managers

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Possess < 1 - 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology preferred
  • Working knowledge of product development systems such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to work with large teams
  • Understanding of design quality standards
