We are seeking an experienced and innovative Acquisition Manager for the K-12 market. The Acquisition Manager furthers the company’s objectives by:

·       Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate customer needs

·       Seeking new producers and renewing existing partners to maintain a broad range of streaming and related materials to enhance the Learn 360 and CVOD platforms

·       Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs

·       Creating and maintaining acquisition calendars, taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans

·       Increase company profitability by building brand loyalty and identifying ways to improve customer retention

·       Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing

·       Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed

·       Creating, adjusting, and managing the acquisition calendar

·       Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content

·       Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research

·       Interfacing with other department heads and team leaders including sales, marketing, editorial, and product to ensure the successful placement and sell through of existing products


·       3+ years of experience and/or interest in video content acquisition

·       BA preferred

·       Have excellent organizational and communication skills

·       Proven content strategy and project management experience

·       Strong presentation and communication skills

·       Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Other Skills:

·       Excellent analytical skills

·       Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills

·       Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet target goals and deadlines

·       Ability to be a team player, share knowledge and take initiative as needed
