SEEKING FREELANCE RESEARCHERS - PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME
Vault.com and Firsthand.co are looking for freelance researchers to assist our editorial product team. The primary focus of the work is to gather and update information for our database of companies, industries, and roles. You will be collating information from multiple sources. The ability to source good information, evaluate whether the sources are credible and accurate, and to cross fact-check will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct online research on assigned industries, companies, and roles
Collate the research (data and links), using a Google spreadsheet that will be provided
Document your sources
Some fact-checking, which may include phone calling
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or pursuing an undergraduate degree
Writing, blogging, online research, and data management experience a big plus
Able to work at least 20 hours a week; up to 35 hours a week if mutually agreeable
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets
Accuracy and speed (you will complete a 1-hour test assignment)

Compensation:
The freelance researcher rate is $20/hour. The project is on-going so you could start right away. We anticipate a June end date, although that might extend through the summer.
