Infobase Holdings seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Database Editor that is willing to bring their hard work and expertise to our company. This role will work with the editor-in-chief for reference databases and e-books in the fields of career guidance and health for high school, college, and general readers.


Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Data curation in multiple content management systems
  • Testing and monitoring content on live sites and in e-books
  • Online research
  • General editorial and administrative tasks, such as copy-editing, proofreading, and HTML coding
  • Photo research as well as write captions, process image files, and manage image libraries


Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have strong editing and writing skills and a proven ability to complete projects independently, within project guidelines, and on time
  • A working knowledge of HTML
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style are recommended
  • Knowledge of relevant subject areas is a plus
  • Bachelors degree
  • 1+ years experience
