About The Role

As a Criminal Research Specialist, you will support our Production Department by researching applicant criminal history, providing technical and administrative support, and assisting with client specific projects. You will follow processes in a professional and timely manner, adhering to guidelines from the Supervisor on the required productivity and quality of work. You will report to the Director of Production. Position is currently hybrid remote. In office attendance is required on Wednesdays. 

Key Responsibilities

· Assign online searches

· Maintain open communication with courts and vendors for outstanding research

· Quality assurance by verifying vendor clears and hits

· Perform in house record searches (State, County and Federal Levels)

· Perform in house production related services

· Research new vendors

· Assist client with questions via phone and email

· Salt new vendors (Quality check with known hits)

Job Requirements

· High school diploma and/or GED

· Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field is strongly preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Qualifications

· Must be detailed-oriented

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

· Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time

· Compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret, offer a collaborative approach in a team environment

· Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response(s)

· Efficient e-mailing and electronic correspondence experience

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
