About The Role

As a Criminal Research Specialist, you will support our Production Department by researching applicant criminal history, providing technical and administrative support, and assisting with client specific projects. You will follow processes in a professional and timely manner, adhering to guidelines from the Supervisor on the required productivity and quality of work. You will report to the Director of Production. Position is currently remote; however some travel to our HQ in Hendersonville, NC may be required. 

Key Responsibilities

· Assign online searches

· Maintain open communication with courts and vendors for outstanding research

· Quality assurance by verifying vendor clears and hits

· Perform in house record searches (State, County and Federal Levels)

· Perform in house production related services

· Research new vendors

· Salt new vendors (Quality check with known hits)

Job Requirements

· High school diploma and/or GED

· Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field is strongly preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Qualifications

· Must be detailed-oriented

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

· Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time

· Compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret, offer a collaborative approach in a team environment

· Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response(s)

· Efficient e-mailing and electronic correspondence experience

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
