Director of Corporate Sales




The primary role of the Director of Corporate Sales is to generate members and relationships outside the club in the business community and all other community segments for ClubSport San Jose and for Silver Creek Sportsplex.  The DCS will report to Club Manager and follow all of the membership policies and procedures for marketing, prospecting, touring and enrolling new members.  They will be responsible for upholding the company’s brand image while promoting the property in the field. They are responsible for building and maintaining current corporate accounts, growing corporate membership and building business relationships to enhance our brand awareness and recognition in the business community. This position is responsible for generating leads and sales to contribute to the overall team goal at ClubSport San Jose.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS For ClubSport San Jose and Silver Creek Sportsplex

·         Meet and exceed monthly lead and membership and goals

·         Call on businesses in the community to promote the property

·         Drive leads and tours into the club via phone calls or walk-ins

·         Attend corporate and community events to promote the property with the specific goal to generate leads, tours and sales for the membership department

·         Track all lead generation efforts, calls, contacts, appointments and provide a weekly tracking report with details on outreach, opportunity and corporate climate

·         Maintain the corporate account list to ensure accuracy and corporate requirements for each account and continually follow-up with the existing corporate account to build business within the accounts

·         Keep track of and provide all marketing requests or expenditures to the Club Manager for approval before committing to spend

·         Provide corporate sales training to the sales team

·         Set up Corporate Functions to drive in leads (open house, health fair, seminars)

·         Complete a monthly business plan for the Club Manager

·         Work closely with the inside sales team, and keep everyone informed on the business activity and current opportunities

·         Enter all information to leads in the prospecting system

·         Work closely with the Club Manager at each location to assist with marketing efforts to increase lead generation for new membership sales in all areas of “corporate outreach”

·         Actively seek-out cross-marketing and co-marketing opportunities with other businesses to market the property’s programs and activities to generate participation, leads and profit for both club and sportsplex

·         Assist in developing creative marketing ideas for the property to generate leads and cross participation

·         Other duties as assigned by the Club Manager
