Job Overview:
In this role, the duties include:
- Daily management, coordination, negotiation, and finalization of Global contracts for R&D, CMC, Clinical and other outsourced services for rapidly growing gene therapy company.
- Review, prepare, and negotiate vendor agreements in a timely manner and in collaboration with Global Business Partners, R&D teams, Clinical Development teams, CMC teams and Corporate Legal.
- Contracts and documents may include, but not be limited to, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Project Agreements, Master Service Agreements, SOWs, Amendments, Change Orders, Consulting/Service Agreements, and CRO Services Agreements (Pre-Clinical & Phase I-IV).
- Administer the Legal Contracting IT system, including running periodic reports and dashboards and implementing improvements
- Active member of small Legal team supporting all aspects of the Company’s business
Responsibilities:
· Manage the negotiation and execution of standard pharmaceutical, biotech, and commercial agreements.
· Work proficiently in an automated contract management system.
· Act as an Administrator for, and update and maintain contract management system and tools.
· Serve as additional point of contact from the company for outside parties regarding contract negotiations and other contract related matters.
· Actively participate in process and project update meetings regarding Global agreements and services with Business Partners and corporate legal.
· Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge of company processes, SOPs, and compliance policies as they apply to agreements.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of contract management experience, including working with contract management software.
· Minimum of 5 years supporting general contract transactions. Pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred. Familiarity with commercial and IT transactions helpful.
· Demonstrate effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross-functional teams.
