Job Overview:

Passage Bio is looking for a highly motivated, responsible, organized individual as the Director of Patient Recruitment. This individual will drive patient recruitment strategies, direct-to-patient activities and embed innovative approaches to enhance patient identification for clinical trials. This position requires a strong knowledge of clinical trial execution and delivery. 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Develop, implement and coordinate patient recruitment strategies in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders across the portfolio of studies. 

·       Create and maintain project/study recruitment plans

·       Monitor impact of the recruitment strategies  

·       Develop patient retention strategies and coordinate with sites to embed approaches

·       Develop and maintain robust patient trackers and reporting across the portfolio of studies

·       Ensure application of new opportunities to accelerate patient recruitment for clinical studies

·       Assist internal stakeholders in maintaining strategic external relationships to ensure collaborative environment

·       Create communication channels to increase patient identification and participation

·       Assist with development of patient and disease related information to support patient identification and recruitment

·       Train CRAs and site staff and conduct recruitment support workshops as required.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.

·       At least 5 years in related experience or equivalent, early phase experience preferred.

·       Successful track record recruiting rare patient populations for clinical trials

·       Strong understanding of clinical trial environment and drug development process; experience with clinical trial execution and delivery preferred

·       Strong written and oral communication skills

·       Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

·       Ability to manage priorities and workflow

·       Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

·       Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

·       Proficient on excel, word, power point and practice management software, PM.

·       Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

·       Strong interpersonal skills.

·       Strong presentation, facilitation, and executive-level messaging skills

·       Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

·       Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

·       Ability to understand any and all safety requirements.

·       Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
