We are looking for a motivated self-starter to take ownership of operational processes and procedures for a cryptocurrency trading business. This is a highly cross-functional role that will require frequent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., compliance, product management, engineering, third-party vendors, etc.) to ensure the success of our ongoing operations as we grow and evolve.
Our ideal hire is someone well-rounded with an entrepreneurial spirit who can effectively prioritize competing projects and seamlessly transition from one task to another. This position involves very close day-to-day collaboration with our Head of Operations, but you will interact with everyone at Lonk.
No two days will be the same; from
a high-level, you will be expected to take ownership of certain aspects of the
day-to-day business functions for Lonk with a view towards reducing operational friction wherever possible.
This includes involvement in:
building business relationships with key vendors and counterparties;
talent management, including recruiting, immigration management, onboarding, and involvement in general HR matters;
- corporate governance and legal matters, working
with outside counsel as necessary;
trading account management, including opening new exchange accounts and tracking/managing terms (technical, product, pricing, and legal) for our existing exchange footprint;
finance and accounting, working with our accountants as necessary;
drafting written materials as needed, including work on our website, pitch decks, internal policies and procedures, job postings, and general marketing content as required; and
office space, equipment, and service management, including coordination of team events.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience in an operational control, program or project management, or product operations function for trading, banking, or payments in the fintech space.
Experience interacting with engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency.
Superb written and oral communication skills.
Flexible and calm under pressure with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Curious, creative, and resourceful with excellent judgment.
- Some understanding of trading operations preferred but not required.
Familiarity with cryptocurrency or a strong interest in digital assets a plus.
