The partnership includes leaders from education, business, philanthropy, nonprofit, civic, and faith communities with a vision that all students are guaranteed a high-quality education. ImpactTulsa is a 501(c)3 and a member of the StriveTogether national network. Its 20 school district partners represent over 100,000 students in the Tulsa region. Working with its cross-sector partners, ImpactTulsa provides actionable data insights and measures student outcomes to shift policies, practices, resources, and power so 100,491 youth are on a path to economic mobility by 2030.

In short, you create places of belonging and action to activate people and organizations on work that shifts policies, practices, resources and power.

You do that by prioritizing data-informed decision-making with partners, ensuring the focus is on educational outcomes. You understand how design, facilitation, and data insights can strengthen collaboration, accelerate results, and are agile in building partner capacity to achieve outcomes and put more Tulsa County youth on a path toward economic mobility. You are ready to move our organization’s efforts to activate the strategies, partnerships, and innovations necessary for Tulsa area institutions to succeed in reducing education opportunity gaps based on race, ethnicity, gender, income, and other factors. Summary
The Manager, Strategy & Activation, reports to the Director, Collaboration & Partnerships and serves on the Cradle to Career Initiatives team. In this role, you foster and facilitate a culture of collaborative action within ImpactTulsa’s partnerships and across the broader community. You prioritize data-informed decision-making to improve educational outcomes, drive systems transformation, and ensure every child is supported from cradle to career. You work alongside partners to co-develop strategies, build proof points for what works, and give the work back to those closest to the challenge—advancing leadership rooted in lived experience and building with, not for, community partners.
In this role, you use design, facilitation, and data insights to strengthen collaboration, accelerate results, and build partner capacity to achieve outcomes to put more Tulsa County youth on a path toward economic mobility. This role propels our organization’s efforts to activate the strategies, partnerships, and innovations necessary for Tulsa area institutions to succeed in placing 100,491 children and youth on a path to economic mobility by 2030.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Convenes, facilitates, and builds the collaborative and data-driven capacity of networks of community partners to set targets and reach outcomes for Tulsa youth, utilizing a continuous improvement process and tools.

Leverages project management, strategic thinking, and communication skills to enhance project implementation, engage stakeholders, and drive measurable impact in Collaboration and Partnerships projects.

Supports in the measurement and continuous improvement of strategies to track systemic changes for better outcomes for children, youth, and young adults.

Represents ImpactTulsa at community events, coordinates meeting logistics, and works with the community to ensure all of our spaces are dynamic healing and learning experiences for all participants.

Manages regular reporting on the progression of ImpactTulsa’s initiatives, and brings forth trends, challenges, opportunities for innovation and learned best practices to be responsive to organizational-wide initiatives.

Promotes and facilitates the integration of results-based accountability across our partners and community-facing initiatives.

Facilitates meetings through the provision of timely and meaningful information, results-based practices, and data for evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

Identifies areas for improvement in internal and external strategies and works with relevant stakeholders to optimize processes and drive ImpactTulsa’s strategy-aligned outcomes.

Actively collaborates across departments ImpactTulsa team to define, plan, and execute our place-based economic mobility strategy of improving student attendance, kindergarten readiness, early learning literacy, middle grade math, high school graduation, college enrollment and completion, employment, and community safety.

Able to activate community member knowledge, skills, and habits through continuous improvement and results-based methods.
Education, Experience, Knowledge
A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is required.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred and proximate or lived experience across cultures is a bonus.

Travel, Work Hours, Department
Travel Requirements
This role requires regular travel across Tulsa County. Reliable access to transportation is essential, as visits to partner sites will occur based on the cadence and needs of the work. ImpactTulsa reimburses mileage and parking at federally recognized rates.
Work Hours & Environment
ImpactTulsa operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility built in for lunch breaks and scheduled appointments. For example, a typical schedule might be 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., lunch from 12:00–1:00 p.m., and work until 5:00 p.m.
This is a hybrid role—not fully remote. You must reside in Tulsa, OK to fulfill this role. While staff may work off-site a few days a week, in-person meetings and site visits are common throughout the week depending on team rhythms, partner needs, and events. All staff are expected to be in the office on Tuesdays for collaboration, community building, and team meetings. Our office is located in downtown Tulsa’s Sun Building and operates with a coworking-style reservation system to ensure visibility and shared space access.
Department
The Manager, Strategy & Activation is part of the Collaboration & Partnerships (CAP) Team. The CAP team works alongside other ImpactTulsa departments to advance our 2030 goal of ensuring 100,491 youth are on a path to economic mobility.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary for this position is $55,000 annually and is non-negotiable. This policy supports our commitment to pay equity by ensuring all candidates are considered equally and fairly, without disparities caused by negotiation. Our goal is to maintain transparency and fairness in compensation, aligning with our organizational values and financial strategy.
